Design Closed Spirals Earrings

The Design Closed Spirals Earrings are a beautiful rich glass design made from reclaimed glass.

Each hand cut into pieces that measure 1/4 inch b 1 inch. Each piece is mounted on a hand-formed sterling spiral and sterling earwires.

Five (5) Color Designs: all from depression era glass in a huge variety of reclaimed dishware pieces
- Clear: from vintage clear reclaimed dishware pieces
- Golden Amber: stunning color that just glows when the light shines through it 
- Green: cut from the popular pale green depression glass from the many various serving pieces
- Pink: antique glass now highly prized by collectors around the world
- Teal Sandwich: named for the beloved lacy floral scroll pattern first produced at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in the late 1800's

The embossing patterns will vary on each piece, but each will reflect the beautiful delicate blossom patterns made so popular long ago.

Bottled Up Design and Laura Bergman, Reclaim Artist started as a avid glass and bottle collector. As a collector, I have spent countless hours poking through the many old glass and bottle dumps scattered throughout the natural wooded habitats and rural farmlands. One thing that has always bothered me though, is how collectors take the valuable whole bottles and glass pieces, but leave the broken glass behind for the environment and the wildlife to deal with.  Though broken, this glass still has beauty and history, so I decided to pick up the pieces and turn them into something beautiful again, in my remarkable line of recycled glass jewelry. Each piece of this eco friendly jewelry is truly "A Little Piece of History for you to Wear."  A truly unique way to preserve the past while helping the future.
